HOW COMMISSION WORKS

Job confirmed on Avarice
When a planner accepts your quote through the platform, the booking is registered.

Commission calculated before VAT
Commission is applied to the agreed job value before VAT, at a rate between 5% and 15% depending on your plan.

Automatically deducted at payment
When the planner pays through the platform, commission is deducted at source and the balance is transferred directly to you. The invoicing is done for you so there is nobody to chase.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Can I stay on Basic forever?

Yes. The Basic plan has no subscription fee and no time limit. You pay 15% commission only on confirmed bookings made through the platform. Upgrade to a paid plan at any time to reduce your commission rate.
What counts as a confirmed booking?

A confirmed booking is when a planner accepts your quote through Avarice and payment is processed through the platform.
How is commission calculated?

Commission is applied to the agreed job value before VAT. For example, on a £5,000 job before VAT at 7% commission (Professional plan), Avarice retains £350 and £4,650 is transferred to you. It's deducted automatically when payment is processed, with no invoicing required.
Can I change plans?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades at your next billing date. Annual plans are billed upfront with a 2-month saving built in.
Is there a minimum contract?

Monthly plans have no minimum term and you can cancel at any time. Annual plans are billed upfront for 12 months.
Is Avarice free for planners?

Yes. Planners always use Avarice for free. There are no fees or subscriptions and no commission is charged to planners. Supplier commission covers the cost of running the platform.
I'm booked out. Can I pause briefs?

Yes. Switch off Accepting new briefs under My Profile and set a date to come back on if you know it. You drop out of automatic matching until then. Your profile stays in the directory with a Not taking briefs chip and planners can still pick you by hand.
