AVARICE
For Planners
For Planners

AV production without the guesswork

You know the event you want. Avarice turns it into a technical spec an AV company can price, sends it to the suppliers you choose and puts the quotes side by side. Free for event planners, always.

How It Works
01
Build your spec
Answer plain-English questions about your event. The guided builder turns them into a structured AV spec with a recommended kit list and realistic day rates, no technical knowledge needed.
02
Choose your suppliers
Browse the directory, check match scores and pick who should quote. Your brief only ever goes to the companies you select.
03
Compare quotes side by side
Quotes come back against the same spec, so you compare like for like instead of decoding three differently formatted PDFs.
04
Book with payment protection
Pay through the platform when you accept a quote. Your money is held and released to the supplier after the event.
Questions

How much does Avarice cost for planners?

Nothing. Avarice is free for event planners, always. Suppliers pay a commission on confirmed bookings, so there are no planner-side fees and nothing on the planner side is gated behind payment.

Do I need to understand AV to use it?

No. The guided builder asks about your event in plain English and produces the technical spec for you. If you already know your kit, you can build a list from scratch instead.

Who sees my brief?

Only the suppliers you explicitly select. Match scores and recommendations are advisory. Nothing on Avarice sends your event to a list automatically.

I already have a quote. Can Avarice check it?

Yes. The Quote Analyser reads an AV quote line by line and tells you what it covers, what looks unusual and where to ask questions. It is free and you can use it without building a spec.

What if my event changes after booking?

Update the booking in place. Both sides see exactly what changed and confirm the new terms, so you are not renegotiating from scratch over email.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancellation terms are set out clearly before you book, and refunds are handled under our refund policy. Your payment is protected either way because money is only released to the supplier after the event.
